Over the weekend, Twiddle played two huge shows, including their largest headlining performance to date, in Burlington, VT. The shows included 2-set performances both nights, Friday at Waterfront Park and Saturday at Higher Ground. The band was playing on another level the entire weekend. Fans were dancing around with smiling faces, singing every word! The shows were a part of the Lake Champlain Maritime festival that alternated slots with Moe. (Friday at Higher Ground, Saturday at the Waterfront). Mihali sat in with Moe. at High Ground on Friday. Soule Monde opened for Twiddle on Friday while Cabinet opened for Moe. on Saturday. Warren Haynes & Railroad Earth closed out the festival on Sunday.

There was one particular group that deserves the nod for MVP of the weekend. That goes to the Luvaduck Cleanup Crew. The crew was made up of volunteers from the Twiddle fan community that came together simply to make the grounds cleaner than they were before everyone got there. The cleanup was organized by the White Light Foundation, a charitable organization that aims to support local charities and organizations. This comes after a series of reports this summer of festival grounds where fans have left a mess of garbage and trash all over the campgrounds prompting volunteers to spend hours and sometimes days cleaning up. After Twiddle’s show, with a crowd of a few thousand, the entire concert area was clean in just 15 minutes. Great job guys!

More About White Light Foundation

“Inspired by the music and message of Twiddle, White Light Foundation aims to help light a path for those lost in the dark. An organization made up solely by volunteers our immediate goal is to support local charities and organizations of significance to the White Light Foundation community through fundraisers and drives.

Building off the success of the Help the Littles event at Toad’s Place in April, where over $3,000 in donated clothing, toys, school supplies and money were raised to benefit a children in New Haven, CT, we intend to hold additional events throughout 2015 and beyond.”

Twiddle’s next performance is this Friday (8/14) at 7:15 PM on the Mushroom Stage at the Peach Festival in Scranton, PA.
