Below is a message from the Disc Jam HQ regarding the change of location and this year’s festival.

Disc Jam Moves to Barre, MA

“We are MOVING ON UP!!
Disc Jam Music Festival to Relocate to Barre, MA

The 2014 Disc Jam Music Festival has announced that they will be relocating this year’s festival, scheduled to take place June 13-15, from Brimfield, MA to Camp Coldbrook in Barre, MA. The move comes after much discussion over some logistical concerns that festival promoters ultimately decided would be best overcome by moving the festival to Camp Coldbrook.

“We know that it is kind of late in the game, but in the end, we feel that the move is the right decision and hope that all of our attendees will feel the same way once they have seen this beautiful new site,” said festival promoter Tony Scavone. “While we have enjoyed our time in Brimfield, MA, we feel that Camp Coldbrook is better suited for what we are trying to accomplish with Disc Jam and that this new site will provide for the enjoyable experience possible for our attendees, which in the end is our main focus.” The new site, which boasts picturesque views, a grassy camping area, two swimming pools, bar, a later curfew on the main stages (1:00AM) and a spacious music hall for late night sets. On top of all the new amenities Camp Coldbook also provides much needed additional space for the festival after reaching capacity at their original site last summer. The 18 hole tournament-caliber Barre Falls Dam Disc Golf Course is just 3.5 miles away is the area’s most sought after courses and will play host to this year’s disc golf tournaments. You can read a review on the course here:

The previously announced lineup for the festival, which combines live music, disc golf, flow art and camping, will remain intact and all tickets already purchased will be honored at the new location. Bands scheduled to perform this year include: Dopapod, Kung Fu, Twiddle, Turkuaz, The Nth Power, Particle & Friends Super Jam, Consider the Source, Pink Talking Fish, The Breakfast, and many more. Camp Coldbrook, is located 30 miles from the 2013 Disc Jam site and is within 90-minute drives of Boston, Northampton, Worcester, Hartford, Providence and Manchester, NH and is within 2.5 hours of Albany, NY and Portland, ME.
