The reggae collective Easy Star All-Stars based out of New York City originally formed as a studio band for Easy Star Recording. Backing many artists since the record label started in 1997, they’re most commonly known for their reggae, dub style covers of popular albums. They cover it all from Pink Floyd to Radiohead, The Beatles and even Michael Jackson. They choose an album and cover it in its entirety, remixing each track in their reggae, dub style, combining sounds you would never pair together. This year marks their 10 year anniversary of the release; Dub Side Of The Moon, and with that they are celebrating by doing a Dub Side Of The Moon Anniversary Tour, hitting many states in the US as well as, the UK, Spain, Poland, France and Italy. Coming off their sold out show at the Brooklyn Bowl with John Brown’s Body, these guys are pumped and ready to bring their reggae edition of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of The Moon down to Atlanta this Thursday at Terminal West. Get your tickets now here, this show is one you won’t want to miss, doors open at 8.
