The Catskill Chill Music Festival has announced the lineup for the 4th annual Chill taking place September 6-8 at Camp Minglewood in Hancock, NY. After last year’s incredible lineup, many believed it would not be possible to top it. Then, they announced this year’s artists and boy are we thrilled to be covering the festival.
Normally, this is where we would highlight the must see artists for the festival however it is going to be pretty difficult given the massive list of talent this year. For starters, The Meter Men featuring Zigaboo Modeliste, Leo Neocentelli, George Porter Jr., and Page McConnell is absolutely going to be one of the highlights of the festival. Some new additions this year that you definitely won’t want to miss include Galactic, Papadosio, Tea Leaf Green, The Motet, RAQ, Orchard Lounge, Brother’s Past, Jimkata, Greenhouse Lounge, Turkuaz, The Mantras, Eric Krasno Band, Shmeeans & the Expanded Consciousness, Brock Butler (solo), Ghost Owl, The Z3: Zappa Tribute, Spiritual Rez, Cosmic Dust Bunnies, and Aqueous. The Chill will welcome back some of last year’s artists including Lotus, Conspirator, Dopapod, Kung Fu, Alan Evans Trio, Particle, Yarn, Headtronics, Consider the Source, Twiddle, Damn Right, DJ Logic, The McLovins, Fikus, ShwizZ and others.
There will be a few changes with the festival this year. Last year, there were 2 main stages and Club Chill. This year, the festival will have 5 total stages, the same 3 from last year, except this year they added an outdoor Acoustic Junction stage, and a Campground DJ stage.
The lineup announcement already has many people eagerly awaiting the arrival of September so they can experience this year’s Catskill Chill Festival which is sure to bring memories for many that will last a lifetime.
